Fenway Farm
was started in 2003 when the Martinez family ventured here from Virginia with a little horse trailer and two horses. The
farm has since become a fun, warm, and family oriented barn with excellent care and attention to detail. After building the barn and indoor arena in
2005, Julia Martinez has turned her attention to adding amenities to make Fenway Farm a better and more
efficient space for boarders and lesson students alike.
Julia started her horse career in Massachusetts and showed on the "A" circuit throughout New England. Since she
was young, she competed in the hunters, equitation, and the jumpers. She competed into college before her horse
Bouncer was retired. This valuable and educational experience enabled her to begin a barn with top level care
and family values. Julia continues to compete on the A rated and local circuits. Scott's and Julia's
love of the Red Sox (a little known baseball team from Boston) inspired the farm's name. As the story goes, Julia
wanted a horse farm and Scott got to name it.
